Keep your mouse’s pellets or food blocks in a secure container where it’s cool and dry.
Don’t buy more than one or two month’s worth of food for your mouse at a time, because the food loses its nutritional value when stored for too long.
Wash your mouse’s food and water bowls daily, being sure to throw away any uneaten food.
Replace uneaten food daily, and dispose of fresh food after a couple of hours.
