The weather has certainly thrown a few surprises to us lately; we actually had measurable rain in Southern California, with a few microbursts, or mini tornadoes, thrown in. And people in the South are getting snow for the first time in many years or maybe ever. Wherever you are or whatever the weather, I hope you, your family and your ferrets all stay safe and healthy this winter. Spring is on the way.
On cold winter days full of strange weather, it’s sometimes nice to sit in front of the computer to surf the Internet or connect with friends via Facebook, Twitter or whatever. Another fun activity is to create a website for your ferret in our Club Critter section. More than 1,500 ferret owners have done so already. Check out all the ferret pages here, and if you haven’t added your ferret’s page yet, think about joining in. It’s free.
Our Ferrets magazine issue for February is, as always, packed with terrific info. I hope you’ll visit the table of contents page to see if anything catches your eye. From a ferret that saved its owner’s life to information on another treatment option for adrenal gland disease to an excerpt from the book Ferrets Underfoot, we’ve got it all and more.
Finally, the Winter Olympics are underway soon. Here’s a fun survey: If your ferret participated in the Winter Olympics, what sport would it perform? Add your comment below or join the conversation on our forums.
See you next month!
