You Have To Admire Hedgehog Muscles After Watching This Video

It looks like rolling up into a ball is a piece of cake compared to unrolling!

If you've ever seen a pet hedgehog curled up into a ball, you know how cute it looks. But have you wondered how a hedgehog gets out of that ball position? This video reveals that surprising and oh-so-adorable feat. Way to go panniculus and orbicularis muscles, which are what work together to pull the hedgehog's loose skin so it can roll or unroll.

I admit that the first 30 seconds or so of this video is pretty static, but once this hedgie's nose starts to twitch, the action gets going!

What do you think of the hedgehog's amazing muscles? Leave a comment below.
