If you've ever seen a pet hedgehog curled up into a ball, you know how cute it looks. But have you wondered how a hedgehog gets out of that ball position? This video reveals that surprising and oh-so-adorable feat. Way to go panniculus and orbicularis muscles, which are what work together to pull the hedgehog's loose skin so it can roll or unroll.
I admit that the first 30 seconds or so of this video is pretty static, but once this hedgie's nose starts to twitch, the action gets going!
