Watch This Sugar Glider Take A Spin

You haven’t seen it all until you’ve seen this sugar glider demonstrate the many ways to work an exercise wheel!

Exercise wheels are not just for hamsters. This sugar glider named Pili shows she has serious exercise skills. She makes it spin fast and slow, reverses direction and even takes little hops or takes a ride by sitting still and riding it once it gets spinning really fast. And if that wasn’t enough, her owner posted a second video showing the action in slow motion, which allows you to admire every second of her agile display.

Sugar gliders have always entranced me with their unique look. Those large, expressive eyes, cute fluffy tail and and gliding membrane on the sides are distinctive among the small animal exotic pets. But even though these marsupials look so different, the lure of an exercise wheel is the same as for hamsters, gerbils, hedgehogs and other small animal pets.

You go, Pili!
