The Guinea Pig Who Acts Like A Dog

No really! Watch this video and see if you don't think there are canine tendencies.

Why does Wig (nicknames Wig-Wig and Wiggy) seem to be doglike? Well, he follows his owner around. He spins on command. He comes when called. And he really seems bonded to his owner.

Wig the guinea pig lives in Australia with his owner, who says that he got the name Wig because he often "wigs out" and starts popcorning in excitement. His best trick is coming when called, as his owner says if he ever can't locate him, he just calls his name and he pops out from wherever he was.

Guinea pigs are one of the more cuddly of the small animal exotics, and Wig is obviously quite intelligent. I just can't get over how well he listens to his owner.
