We all know that a dog wagging his tail is happy, right? Well, not all the time. Tail wagging can be a sign of happiness, but it also can mean a dog is excited, nervous, angry — a lot of different things.

So what about a tail wagging chinchilla? Is he happy? This one looks like he might be more excited or alert than happy. And some people say that chinchillas that wag their tail are actually ready to mate. Whatever the case, this makes for a cute video. After all, have you seen a chinchilla wag his tail before? Enjoy!
