Watch the darting dance and hide-and-seek behavior of this cute least weasel.

Ozzy the least weasel is quite a jumper. He’s got an entire people bed to play on, but a fuzzy, inert intruder has captured his attention. He then does his best weasel war dance, where he jumps, runs up and runs away, peeks out from a hiding spot and jumps around again. His owner states it is used to confuse or disorient prey in the wild. In domestic pets, it’s part of play or an expression of enjoyment.

Ozzy is a rescued least weasel, which can be mistaken for ferrets or other members of the weasel family. Even though he dances the same, don’t confuse this least weasel with a ferret.

Whatever the cause of the dance, it’s definitely fun to watch!
