Mouse Species Profile

The mouse (plural is mice) is a rodent. Pet mice were originally developed from the common house mouse, and are the same species. Female mice are social and prefer to live in groups. Male mice do OK together up until about 2 months of age, after that time they may view other males as rivals and fight, possibly to the death.
