Small animal pets join the home design bandwagon as a special pet spaces edition of Designing Spaces is scheduled to air April 25th at 7 a.m. on the Women’s Entertainment (WE) Network and on April 27th at 7 a.m. on The Learning Channel (TLC), according to International Absorbents Inc., a developer and producer of environmentally friendly pet care and industrial products. The company’s small animal bedding products will be featured on the pet spaces edition of the show.
Gordon Ellis, CEO of International Absorbents Inc., said customers use the company’s colored small animal bedding products to decorate their pet spaces for holidays, create seasonal themes and even celebrate with their favorite team. The colored bedding is safe for animals and dyed using the same materials used in homes around the world for more than 40 years, according to the company website.
Lysa Liemer, executive vice president of programming for Designing Spaces, said they had done shows featuring home décor, health and fashion for dogs and cats. They thought the colored small animal bedding was ideal for their audience members with smaller pets. “The odor control and health aspects of the product make for a better living environment for pets and people and the colors add a sense of fashion and design to incorporate small animal habitats into family living spaces."
Designing Spaces is a home makeover TV show produced by Quorum Productions.
