The topic is ferrets at the 2011 International Ferret Congress symposium. |
The International Ferret Congress formed to enhance the welfare of the domestic ferret, provide the latest ferret-related information to ferret owners and veterinarians, foster communication in the ferret community and provide grants for qualifying ferret-related organizations.
The primary way the IFC accomplishes its goals is by holding ferret seminars and forums. Past symposiums have occurred in Las Vegas, Atlanta, St. Louis and Portland, with the most recent symposium taking place in Pittsburgh in 2008.
On June 3 through June 5, 2011, the next IFC symposium occurs in Phoenix/Tempe.The three-day event features many speakers, a chance to browse ferret merchandise at vendors, two evening workshops, a dinner and more. Visit the IFC website for full details.
