As a ferret owner with the heart of a nomad, I travel quite a bit. Since acquiring Samson, aka Sammy, I have moved from Arkansas to the Gaza Strip to Tennessee to Louisiana to Arkansas to Utah to Louisiana to North Carolina to Texas to Connecticut to Massachusetts to Louisiana to Alaska. That makes for 18 moves, if you count five within-state moves. All of my moves, with the exception of the trip to Alaska, were made by vehicle. I drove my own moving van, often towing my car. During the trips I had from one to 10 ferrets in tow, not to mention fish or cats or both!
