2. Visit Internet sites that support the black-footed ferret recovery program, such as Prairie Wildlife or Black Footed Ferret. These sites give details about the program and ways for people to help.

3. You can contact Travis Livieri at Prairie Wildlife Research for information about direct donations of funds, or to help provide items on his wish list.

4. “The Hole Story,” a children’s book about black-footed ferrets that comes complete with “Kit the Ferret,” helps to fund the program and is available through the Prairie Wildlife website.
