Thanksgiving is drawing near, which brings food to mind. But what about our small animal pets? How do they "feel about food? Will your guinea pig only eat from a specific bowl, or does your rabbit only dine on the freshest hay? Does your hamster's water need to be chilled or warmed to a certain temperature to tempt it to sip? Does your ferret eat on the run or savor every morsel? What are the quirky habits or rituals your small animal pet has related to eating or drinking? Or is your small animal pet immune to any form of finicky behavior?
Upload details about your small animal pet's quirky or not-so-quirky eating habits together with a photo of your pet from now through November 30, 2010. You automatically receive 250 points for sharing your story. In December, we'll randomly choose one entry to receive a free copy of either the 2011 issue of Critters USA magazine, the 2011 issue of Ferrets USA magazine or the 2010 issue of Rabbits USA magazine.
This contest is open to small animal pets only (chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, etc.)
Good luck, and thank you for sharing your critter's food quirk!
