The rat in the video is not a hooded dumbo rat. It is a capped dumbo. Rats very seldom fight with each other as long as you introduce them properly. Safe bedding choices are aspen shavings or paper-based beddings. Never use cedar or pine shavings for rat(or mouse) bedding. They are toxic to them.
