Encouraging Rats To Play

Rats And Diabetes

I know that diabetes tends to be quite a rare occurrence in rats, but I’m starting to worry that my rat Mouse might have developed it. The Food Likes And Dislikes Of Pet Rats

Slinky The Rat Surprises Me

Slinky did something absolutely adorable over the weekend. Normally she is a very spritely thing, always on the go, never keeping still, always out for adventure. I wouldn’t expect anything of a young rat (even if Mouse and Diddy are as lazy as two rats can possibly get — Slinky makes up for them), so imagine my surprise when she curled up in the front pocket of my hoodie and promptly fell asleep. I’ve been doing some rat-orientated learning over the past week, because there is always something new to learn about our favorite little Rattus norvegicus.
