Active within 120 Days Hi! My name is Fuji RIP. I am a Guinea Pig from Novato. 6 years old Female "Fuji Mamma" I have not had a litter of my own but I did take care of Honey and Cinnamon when they were 8 weeks old. I hang out with any human who will hold me. I am a bit of a tease when it comes to the humans. I just love people. She gave me a long and happy life. 6 years is a long life for we piggies. My favorite thing to do as with all guineas is to eat! I also love being held. I popcorn in my cage every morning when I am waiting my turn to be fed. I don't resemble a celebrity so I will use this section as a warning to you parents.... Please do not buy guinea pigs to teach you children about responsibility! We have a relatively long life span for a rodent 5 to seven years. We are very interactive pets who thrive on consistent care. We need to be held and to play daily. Our diet is not as easy as giving pellets in a bowl and water. We need fresh greens, water and hay in the proper amounts daily in addition to pellets. I also require proper grooming. Most kids like my real human will loose interest when the novelty wares off. Then you the parent in the best case scenario will have to step in and take over caring for us as in my case. Or we end up at the local shelter or rescue. Worst case we die from neglect. This happens all too often. Please do not buy guinea pigs for children unless you the parent are going to step in and help with the care we require daily. Loud noises and having my nails trimmed are my pet peeves.

My favorite kinds of food are carrots,celery,oranges,tomatoes,squash, and timothy hay! My main hobbies are sleeping, squeeking, and watching movies with mommy!! Well it's good to have a warning because we ferrets know all too often what it's like to have those misunderstandings...many people think that we are just cute little animals that they can leave in a cage, but that's not true! Hey Welcome to the channel you are very cute. your warning is right. When my mom first got me she was a kid and couldn't take care of me by herself and it was sad because she loved me and i loved her she was just young and couldnt take on the responsibility. but as she grew a bit older and started rabbit hopping me and then got Moose she became the only one to take care of us which makes our lives so much better!!! now we play every day and get the best care in the world. come visit!
