Hi! My name is Bear.

I am a Ferret from Cumming.

3 years old

Bubbi Bear, Bearnut, Sweetie Pie, Kissing bandit.

Same place as my gal Chesney, in our condo, in a guest room that is safe, and the office with our parents.

Everything, they love us so much and treat us like we are queens and kings!

I love kissing my parents when they invite me out of our condo, I love playing with my gal Chesney and my parents. I love bouncing around and collecting antiques that I store in my hidey hole, as they are older than I am.

Kissing strangers, so I am told. They say, it's not nice to stick your tongue out at people.

Smokey the bear. When I was about six months old, I was so tiny; about six inches long. My parents thought I looked like a little bear cub; I know this cause they told me bedtime stories. I'm alot bigger now though, I'm a big boy!

That I can recollect in my young age, I do not have any so far. Well, maybe when we have to stay somewhere else when our parents go away, but everyone at the vets love us too! I think that Chesney and I are living large!!

I wanna kiss you all over! by the band Exile.

Hiya, my good fuzzy! Hope you're doing well.

Wow - I haven't blogged forever. To tell you the truth, Mom is very overwhelmed by blogs lately. So, Apolo is currently "offline" for a good while. Mom isn't even sure if she wants me to win Critter Of The Month anymore - since winter is (almost) over, she is getting so busy with "real life." So, that is to tell you, I am not going to really have "facts" anymore. Maybe quick facts. But mostly just blogs.

Today I will tell you one fact about dental care for K9s.

•Did you know that 85% of all dogs have dental disease by the age of three? This is why it is so important to brush your dog's teeth

Have a hoppy day!

Love, Tobi

  Hi Bear!
I think you are going to enjoy todays facts, because wolves are starred in them!

March 12th and Day 12 of my COTM run. I am so moved by all the support and votes everyone has given me. I can hardly believe it! Today I am going to be focusing on Canine and Feline species native to the park. My next goal: 2,000 votes by July, 2011. That will be pretty hard, since it has taken me more than a year to get 1,000, but I have faith in all my pawesome furiends!

~:♣:~Interesting Facts O'The Day~:♣:~

•The grey wolf (Canis Lupis) is the largest of all canine species
•The buffalo wolf, now extinct, was at least four feet at the shoulder. They are thought to be hunted out by Pioneers, but no one knows for sure what happened.
•On average, a female wolf will give birth to 4-7 pups. The gestation is approximately 63 days
•Legal Status and Protection: Endangered Species Act: Wolves throughout the Lower 48 United States are listed as endangered except in Minnesota where they are listed as threatened. In Alaska, wolves are not listed under the ESA.

•Amazingly, the cougar (Puma Concolor) can jump as high as 15 feet and as far as 40 feet. (WOW!)
•Cougars can be almost as large as jaguars, but are not as muscular and broad
•There are an estimated 30,000 cougars in the Western US. One of their subspecies, the Florida Panther, has less than 100 individuals.
•Cougars will eat larger mammals such as dear, and smaller mammals such as rabbits/hares, porcupines, and even beavers!

Hope you enjoyed my facts of the day! Don't forget to start voting in the avatar contest on DC! And remember to vote for Moose Mooco #162309 DOTM March! She needs your support!

  Hi Bear!
I hope you are enjoying the BEAUTIFUL weather! Actually, I don't know if it is beautiful weather where you live. I have never even heard of Cumming. Squeak Out Loud!

March 11th and Day 11 of my COTM Run! Time really hops, doesn't it?!?!

The weather is finally warming up again! Mommy says we are probably not going to get a pond this year because of the slow melt. I personally don't mind but Apolo will probably tear up the whole house if she tells HIM that. SOL!! I'm being careful in staying away from him because he just tore up two toys that he has had for a while... Lets just PRAY that he doesn't do that to me if *I* ever escape!

Everyone with our without a DogChannel account, please stop by Zoey Lynn's page #145114 to help her achieve her goal of 10,000 votes by April 10th. She is almost there! Don't forget - Moose Mooco (mOoKeY) #162309 needs your votes for DOTM March! You can also stop by Chispita's, because she is a friend of Apolo's, too - but vote for both of them because they are both dear friends!

Fly (C. Agouti Mini Lop) is due on the 16th of March. The day before St. Patrick's day . Maybe I already told you that - SOL!

Not too many facts today...

~:?:~Interest- ing Facts O'The Day~:?:~

?Grizzly bears, slightly smaller than Polar bears, inhabit Yellowstone National Park and are not an uncommon sight.Black bears, the smallest of the N. American Bears, also inhabit the park
?A large wolf in Yellowstone may weigh over 150 pounds (!!!)
?Wolves sometimes need to be shot by a ranger if they are reported chasing bikers, motorcycles, or sometimes even hikers!
?Often times, the drifts in Yellowstone along the roads are 7+ feet!
?Sorry for all the boring facts - but I hope you enjoyed them anyhow!

  Hi Bear!
I love your new pictures. Yes, COTM means "Critter of The Month." Sometimes when you just say COTM though on the other channels it is confusing because that also stands for "Cat Of The Month" so you always need to say on "SmAnimalCh."

March 8 and day 8 of my COTM Run. Happy Mardi Gras, all!

Today Mommy is having a few of her good friends over so won't be writing much.

I'm GLAD you like my facts. I'm trying to make them very interesting. Got any family on DogChannel?

March 7th and day 7 of my COTM run. I didn't think I would get to blogging today but I did! Today I accomplished my goal of 1,000 votes! Though Topaz pawed it to me, I would like to thank all of my furiends who have been visiting every day and helping me make this goal. It really was from all of you because if no one had voted for me in the first place, Topaz wouldn't have been able to leave vote 1,000. So thank you EVERYONE!

I don't have time for facts today. Sorry, everyone!

  Hi Cozy Friend!
March 5th and Day 5 of my COTM run! I am only 25 votes away from 1,000. I can hardly wait! Thank you all for spreading the word, daily votes, and what-not. I really appreciate them!

Last night Mommy was gone all night. She went to Houle's Feed Store and bought me more PenPal's rabbit food, and got Houle's Horse feed and Houle's goat feed. After that she went to PETCO™ and bought hamster a slick little green hamster ball. There were free Superpet chews inside. She didn't buy ME anything! After she bought Humphrey his hamster ball she looked at Blue Buffalo dog food. The salesman was talking for over 25 minutes about it. SOL! That is probably what she is going to go with. Thank you all for your support!

-Yellowstone National Park is actaully in three states - mostly Wyoming, a little in Montana, and a tiny sliver in Idaho.
-Yellowstone Park is home to two endangered species; the Gray Wolf (Canis lupus) and the Whooping Crane (Grus americana)
-In 2006, the Federal Government budget for the park was over 30-million dollars
-Ever wonder just how big Yellowstone National Park is? Yellowstone National Park covers more than 2.2 million acres at 63 miles from North to South and 54 miles East to West
-The park is home to 148 nesting birds
-Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton Park are roughly about the size of New Zealand
-Up to 5% of Yellowstone Park is covered by water. 80% of the park is mountain forest and around 15% is grasslands
-Yellowstone has about 2,000 small earthquakes a year. They occur almost every day. It's not a wonder with all the thermal basins!

Hope you enjoy these!

  Hi Bear!
Chewing on things is the best!

March 2nd and Day 2 of my COTM run! Only four more votes until vote 1,000! If you have family on DogChannel, please stop by Woody #170980 and wish him a happy "1 Year Anniversary" on DC! Don't forget to vote EVERYDAY IN MARCH for Moose Mooco #162309 on the DogChannel! Remember - you can stop by 'Crazy Dawg's Fotoshop' on DC to order your campaign pic for Moose (of course, free!) and you can stop by my foto gallery to get a campaign pic for me!

Please spread the word around to your friends about my COTM run. I really need EVERYONES votes and support. Silent votes are also welcome.

~Interesting Facts of the Day~
-Bison traveling down from the mountions many times cause traffic jams over 1-mile long. Mommy once got caught in one - it took over 3-hours to get one mile!
-In most cases it will take at least five wolves to take down one healthy bison. Because bison are such hardy animals, pack members usually try to lure a young calf away from the herd
-In the spring through late May, many hiking trails and geyser basin trails are closed down due to grizzly bears waking up from "a long winter's snooze."

Sorry for the lack of interesting facts today. I will get more soon. On your blog, please tell me what kind of things in Yellowstone National Park interest you most.

Thanks, all!
