How are you doing? I'm sorry for the delay in writing back to you. Since Pippin, my mini horse brother, was running for horse of the month last month all of the other channels kind of got neglected. Can you believe that? Who would choose a horse over a cute squirrel like me?
I've been having the time of my life. I now live completely outside by myself but I come down from the tree tops, or scamper across the ground several times a day to get treats from my humans. I like to keep them (the humans) contained so for the most part they stay inside the wall on my property and feed me treats on demand.
I don't stray far. I have several acres of ponderosa pines which I grudgingly share with "wild" squirrels. They have no manners and steal whenever the urge strikes them. And believe me, they get struck by that a lot. So, in retaliation I steal their peanuts and eat them! Fortunately, there are plenty of peanuts to spare and mama says that our forest has the fattest squirrels in squirreldom. I say a fat squirrel is a happy squirrel!
Are you being hit by all the snow and icy weather? We're really lucky here. It's been warm all month except for some freezing at night and even the trees are beginning to bud. I hope it stays this way but mama says it probably won't.
