Happy New Year!
I know, I know, I'm a few days late. But for some reason it was the dog's turn to blog, and then the cat's and then the horses, well you get my drift, don't you?
I hope you had a wonderful new year. This is my first ever! Didn't notice much different except there were loud shiny things in the sky and the normal sound of neighbours getting trigger happy with their guns. I hope they don't shoot me!
I stay out all the time now but occasionally I'll go into the aviary just to check and make sure I didn't miss something yummy. I come down for tidbits, my favourite being blueberries, but most of the time as soon as I get something I bury it. hehe I love burying things. It makes me feel busy and I'm a very busy squirrel.
I posted Pippin's campaign blog below in the hopes that not only you but any visitors to your page will see it and stop by with votes for him this January. I'm looking forward to helping him in his run. I love going into his pen and burying my peanuts. I'm not sure why I do it though. His nose always leads him to them and then he eats them! I need to plan better.

Hi, I am Acorn's brother and my name is Pippin. I am running for horse of the month in January. I am a cute but feisty miniature stallion and at 31" tall and 200lbs, I can literally pull my own weight! I love going out with my humans and dogs and my favourite activities (after eating, of course!) are driving and jumping. But… really I'm game for anything asked of me. Nothing much scares me and I LOVE new and exciting adventures.
Do I have any faults? If you ask me, of course not! I'm perfect! If you ask mama? Well, she doesn't like me nipping her (oh, but it's so tempting!) and she wishes I were better with water. I'm not too keen on baths or puddles.
Next month I will have been on the Horse Channel for 4 years and I'm the oldest active member. I would greatly appreciate your daily votes and support for me all next month. I plan to educate all my fans on the wonders of minis and I hope to highlight one of my movies each day.
