I saw ya on my friend Acorn's page so I thought I would come and say hiya! dook dook I was wonderin, do ya get along with Queen Julia and Katie? Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I hope you had a nice warm and green and sunny day today. We were hoping for green today too but yesterday morning we awoke to a heavy snowstorm and there was more today! Okay, so it's not strange to have snow in March but we've been having semi warm weather lately and were keeping our fingers crossed that spring was just around the corner. I guess we didn't have the luck of the Irish with us and apparently there must be quite a few more corners till spring is really here.
Mama asked me if I could make summer come. So, I thought on it and replied, "No problem! It might take me a couple of months though." "Why so slow?" she has the temerity to ask? Well, it's not like I've done it before. That's a major commitment!
Talking of major, mama finally finished a horse movie on which she's been working on and off since January. It's hard to find time but at least it's done now. I would love for you to take a peek at it. It's called
Pippin: Valiant Protector of Honest Creatures
If you type that into the search engine of YouTube it will be the first movie to come up. I hope you enjoy it! It's a humourous mix of drama and action. And lots of footage of beautiful horses!

How are you doing? It seems that I again have to start my blog with an apology for my absence. What type of neglectful mama do I have? Well, I'll tell you! She left me for a whole week last month. She and her friends and the dogs and the parrots all went to the coast. She left me to care for her brother! it's not like I don't have enough to do already. What with collecting peanuts, burying peanuts, digging for peanuts, eating peanuts… Basically my whole day is just nuts!
Anyway, I think I did a pretty good job caring for him and making sure he knew what to feed the goats and peacocks. But I sure did miss my humans. When they got back I spent the whole day down with them begging for treats. I think they missed me too because every time they see me they exclaim with happiness and say I'm the cutest thing ever. Which, of course, I am.
However, a few days ago another squirrel moved in and they had the audacity to name her, Peanut! Peanut is small like me so we suspect she's a girl and young. She's fluffy and for a wild thing she's pretty tame. She mainly eats seeds from the bird feeder and when someone walks by she doens't try to get away. Perhaps she was raised by someone else? Anyway, we've had a few spats just so she knows that I'm in charge.
How is the weather there? Is it cold? We had some snow but it's warmed up again and it's been soooo windy. I have a hard time sleeping at night and trying not to fall out of the trees when they're bending double. One tree fell and I'm sure glad I didn't pick that one for my nest!
Well, got to get some sleep. I think tomorrow I'll search for peanuts under the third tree on the left. Leaving you a vote!Come visit me, Acorn (forever in our hearts) Thank you for crotm!.
