Hey!! Sorry I didn't get back with you!!! I do have 2 kitty friends! MomaCat and Missy and R.I.P. Junior! They scare me and Sugar sometimes, but we do love em... as long as they dont eat use!!!! Oh and Merry Christmas!!!! : ) Come visit me, Sugar & Cinnamon.

Hey gal! Thats great that you got all those yummy treats! And peppers? I've never had any before, i should try some! My favorite treat of ALL time is RAISINS!!! I LOVE RAISINS! They are like the BEST dried fruit EVER! Hehehe! Hope you have a nice weekend, mommy is going to Seaworld, so i'm not going to be on for the weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Sorry I haven't been on lately. Mama sprained her wrist really badly on the 16th. We had a power cut and she was messing with the generator. It's heavy and she had to tip it over. Well, her wrist has an old injury and doesn't work quite right so when she was holding the generator up it just gave way and she couldn't even use it anymore. It's much better now but will probably never be quite right. But as long as I can blog I won't complain. hehe
I got to experience my first snow! It's kind of annoying. It makes it harder to find the peanuts which I love to steal from the other squirrels. Most afternoons I get to run free in the forest and then when it starts getting dark I seek mama out and go home to my nice warm box with her sweater in it. As long as I have play time and lots of yummy food, I'm happy.
Right now we're getting sleet. We had 8 inches of snow but it keeps partially melting and then raining and then snowing. All in all, cold wet wintery weather. I'm glad I have a nice thick, soft fur coat!

How are you doing? Oh, I'm sorry that your babies died. That's so sad. How long ago was it?
Guess what I got to do! Two days now I've been allowed to run free in the tops of the Ponderosa trees for a couple of hours. It was so much fun but pretty tiring too. Mama says it's good for me to build up some strength but it makes me soooo hungry. This morning I ate 5 rat pellets and a handful of acorns and some oatmeal all within about 5 minutes. And yes, my belly was a bit pudgy after that.
And sometimes I get a bit snooty about my food too. If something tastes particularly good I'll grab it, turn my back on mama, and then eat it with the clear message that I don't want to be disturbed. A couple of times I chattered at mama and smacked her fingers.
It rained all last night so I decided that this morning it would be better to eat my food on mama. Nice and warm and dry. But... she wasn't allowed to move. No one likes to eat on a moving dinner table, do they? So, when she tried to move I chattered at her and told her off. She unceremoniously put me down on the stump and I had to eat my food there. Can you believe it? It worked out alright though.
