 I hang out in my comfy cage or in my little hut. I like to lie down on the couch but I'm not allowed to be there!

I don't hate baths, that's too bad you do. Well, I don't like them but I stay calm so mom can get it all finished. he,he. Thanks for the vote and here's one for you too! What are you doing today? It's sunny today, everything's melted away and the puddles are drying up. It's been the weirdest winter we've ever had!! Since it's so warm out these days, mom put me in my big hutch outside. Mom's enjoying all the space in her room without my cage in there and I'm loving the fresh air outside. I can't wait til all the mud dries up so mom and I can go for a walk. Mom took me to the last place where there was snow and I had fun playing in it. We go lots of pictures and they are all on my page now. :)

we can be friends! I think my ears are cute 2!!! A Mongolian gerbil is the most common kind of gerbil. Found in mongolia... dook dook!!! Most pet gerbils that are 100% grain-colored are the Mongolian ones... THANKS FOR COTD I REALLY APPRECIATE IT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED IT!!!!!!!!

Hey Daisy!
I'd love to be bunny-penpals! What a great idea, Daisy! :) guess what! I had a BATH yesterday! Nuts, huh? And SOOOOO embarrassing! My once-was handsome hairdo turned into SPIKES! The worst of all is how long it takes to get it back to its NORMAL look. LOL! I do smell so good like Vanilla though. Mom took a zillion photos and they're all on my page along with a pic of me in the snow and my new Valentine's Day ones. Hope ya like 'em. Well, mom's been busy as always but she always makes time for me, her number ONE priority. Dook dook!! Usually I am loose in mom's room and then I sleep in my cage during the night. But last night mom made a bed for me outside of my cage and I loved it. She put my food and water bowls outside of the cage too so I wouldn't have to go into my cage to eat, with all the wood shavings sticking to my damp fur. he,he. It was so fun. This morning I had a photo shoot and tomorrow I'll be 'helping' (that is trying to anyway-LOL) mom make Valentine's cookies. Take care, my sweet friend.

Hello Daisy,
Thanks for the compliments, Daisy. I think you're very cute yourself. :) No, we got the bed from the pet section in Target. We LOVE that store. he,he. Well, Mom had a rough day today. She thought the new vole kids and the big voles would all get along so she connected the critter-trail cages with the connector tubes...Mom thought wrong...the big bully voles attacked the younger ones and their mommy. The young voles and mom all have wounds and one of them will be blind for the rest of it's life. Mom is devastated. She just can't stop thinking about it. She knows it's all her fault. I feel so bad for poor mom. The little volies were all so happy before she connected the cages and then everything went wrong. I pray my lil' volies will be okay...they are so dear to mom...

Guinea pigs are smaller so it is harder to put clothes, collars, etc. on them. Mesh harnesses are not hard to put on. Mom found out a little trick that works with me when putting them on. For the belly strap, put it on the back and then slide it around the body to the belly. Then you won't have to guess where the buckles are snapping! It's easier to snap it on by the chin because you can see it. Hope this helps.

WALKING ON A LEASH --- EASY STEPS:
Let's go!!
When I first started we used a cloth/mesh rabbit harness because it doesn't choke when a rabbit pulls (like a collar). Mom put the harness on inside the house and let me walk around getting used to the feel of it. Then, mom snapped the leash on and let it drag so I got used to something following behind me. Try this before attempting going outside with a collar. TO MOM: try to walk as quietly and smoothly so you don't scare Skittles making him think something/someone is chasing him. Try this and tell us how it worked. I'll help you out more if you want.

Thanks so much for stopping! We'd LOVE to be friends with you. You're such a cute bunny, Daisy! Oh no, it's okay you asked. We are Alaskan Red Back Voles. Not many people have us for pets. No, we're very different than hamsters. We are wild but mom keeps us for pets. I don't think voles are sold anywhere as pets, but I'm not sure. There is another vole here at SAC and her page number ID is 165612. You should check her out. She's a real cutie.
Guess what! Digity gave birth to 6 baby voles on December 27th, 10 Sadly, one of them was tragically killed by Mickey the cat (although the accessories were all taped, he managed to pull the top off and one of the babies crawled out) on January 8th, 10. The cages are now taped with DUCKTAPE. (which the cats are unable to pull off)

Thank you for the visits. I is not with no poliseman in the picture. That be a FIREFIGHTER and he and ME was in the antique fire engine when me Mom tooks that pictures and I had me Lt. Fire Helment on too. I goes with her every years to the firefighter conventions. OH I do loves to travels and visits new places and peoples.
