I'll pray for her eye. But if it's that bad you may want to go to the vet. I had to go to the vet a few days ago because of my eye.

eye help hints:
this is just kinda common stuff, buts its what i would do:
its not caused by age cuz she/he is only 1 year old. so i would get eyedrops or ask my vet!

Yes, we know about the cost of vet bills and it seems like the smaller the critter should be cheaper, but its not, unfortunately. Mom just finished paying a $1,000.00 bill for one of the cats, who had a massively infected mouth and had to have 14 teeth pulled. She is a teacher and not rich, but she loves Barney, the cat, and couldn't put him down or see him suffer. You might try to get antibiotic eyedrops or ointment from a store or online. They have it for cats and dogs, not sure about piggies. Hopes
the eye starts to get betters. Tell you Moms to keeps it clean anad to check and see if there be any scratch or pite marks near the eye. Antibiotic eye drops or gel might helps or you will has to call the Doc. Will keep you in me thoughts.Come visit me, Merlin The Great -Life be a learning experience.

sorry to hear about louis's eye. i think it would be best if a vet looked at it. sometimes guinea pig's eyes get cloudy if they have a respiratory issue but as far as i know it would be both eyes. bandits eye got all cloudy when it got a cut on it. his healed right up when i kept it rinsed every day. if ur problem is caused by a cut it sounds like it might be infected. if it is u need to see the vet. they might have to remove the eye. hope everything gets better. leavig a vote. Hey every one!!
As always, stopping by to do my weekly blogging, leave a vote for you, congratulate the recent COTD, COTM and other honorees, welcome the newbies, and send love and compassions to those who have crossed over to the bridge too.
So sorry that I am a few days late getting here but Moms have been busy remodeling the bathtub and all. Ya know when you live in an older model mobile home, there are some things ya have to stick with even after serious restoring and remodeling over the years. One thing Mom & Poppie has had to live with is the old bathtub. Great shape and all, just one ofthose kind ya have to put stuffs up around the walls (surround kits) and silicone the cracks and all that good stuff really well. Mom wants the thing tore out and a whole new tub complete with walls and every thing set in but like Poppie says..."Just cant afford it now!" So any ways Moms got in the tub with a scraper and scraped out all of the old caulking and it was horrible!! After 2 years after they fuinally did put up sliding shower doors and all, the cauling was still not set up and dry!! CHEAP STUFF!! Moms pulled out old caulking and stuff that looked like slugs and snails...PEU!!! She and Poppie worked for 2 whole days cleaning and scraping. Then they went to Home Dee-Pot as Moms calls it, and got some stuff (trimmings) and new caulking and got it put up. Moms said it wasn't 100% perfect but it did look and feel up to 98% better than before. Aside from all of that, Moms had really bad inner ear infection too for a day or two and couldn't even raise up off of the bed. Thank goodness she is better now. And she finally made an appointment at her health department next Tuesday for her "womanly" check up and all. Hopes that goes well. And her vacuum cleaner blew up too the other day which called for an emergency go out and buy from Poppie. Moms wanted a canister bagless but couldn't find one she liked that was reasonable. was difficult. He won't stop humping
me. Then when I know him better, then we
become friends. I treated him like he was
my master. He teached me how to hump.

Hey Charlie...
It has been a sad week for Poppie and Mommie. Poppie's cousin was tragically killed when a tree he was trying to cut down split in half and popped back and fell on top of him killing him instantly. Mommie just found out this morning her daughter has a lump on her breast detected by her doctor, and her daughter never told her. Mommie found out from another source. Please remember all of us in your prayers. I don't feel much like writing for Mommie either with all of this turmoil going on lately.
