Hi!
They aren't that hard to take care of, the curls are natural. However, the curls go away one their shoulders if they are over 6 months of age. That is why it is very hard to win with a Texel at a Show. Patches one a Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show on the same day, so we are really proud of her. ~Ginger, Nibbles and Patches~Come visit me, Ginger, Smokey, Tator Tot, Patches, Oreo & Nibbles.

Oh! Thats so cool! Mom wanted to adopt a guinea pig for her bday, but her parents took her to Petsmart and they got little Oreo! Yea, ok, I see from your new pictures that you are probably and Abyssinian Red Broken. Abyssinian is your breed/caot type, Red is your color, and Broken mean that you have two different colors "splatted" on various places. The stripe on your face looks a little like Oreo's. Hmmmmmm...
I don't think your a white crested, Im like that a little. I'm an American with a crest, but not white in it. So I'm an American Black Broken Crested. From your picture, you look kinda abyssinian, maybe even abyssinian satin, but you might be some mixed breed. I think your a Red Broken, and if you DO have a crest, then your a Red Broken Crested.
