o a knot under the chin hmmmm not so good moms never delt with that on us rats though pimple like knots form on rabbits quite offten and all u have to do is pop it...the only other thing she remembers in rats is one of her friends rats got ill with a lump on the belly and it just kept bigger and bigger and just well terrible...try looking up on google or somthing and see if anything fits it. your pal, blue
