DAY TWO OF MY DOTM RUN (MOOSE MOOCO 162309)
Today has been a fun day, early blogging today!
I surprised Mom last night! I can run very fast (I'm a third Greyhound, third German Shepherd, & third Black Labrador) I ran all through the house! Well check back tomorrow for the new photo, and my DOTM blog!
~Facts of the day~
DOGS:
I: Greyhounds are quiet, gentle, and loyal to owners. Generally, the Greyhound is not a barker. Occasionally, the dog may bark or 'roo.
II: Greyhounds are the fastest dog in the world.
III: Greyhounds are typically a healthy and long-lived breed, and hereditary illness is rare.
IV: The typical Greyhound lifespan is 10 to 13 years.
CATS:
I: The Scottish Fold is a breed of cat with ear cartilage containing a fold, causing the ears to bend forward and down towards the front of their head,
II: Scottish Fold's were Originally called lop-eared cats.
FERRETS:
I: Ferrets have four types of teeth
Twelve incisors
Four canines
Twelve premolar teeth
Six molars (two on top and four on the bottom)
II: Ferrets come in many colors, Albino (guard hairs will be white and pink eyes) Black Sable (dark ash blackish brown with no warm brown tone with noticeable black glossy shine) Champagne (diluted version of chocolate) Chocolate (warm milk chocolate brown) Cinnamon(a strong reddish cast to the guard hairs) DEW (Dark-Eyed White) Black (true black in color) Sable (warm deep brown) Sterling Silver (silver color coat)
III: Ferrets come in many patterns as well! Such as Mitt (white feet and a bib marking), Panda (white head and neck), Blaze (white stripe down top of head and neck), and Point (dark legs and tail and a V shaped mask) Roan (50% to 60% colored guard hairs vs. 40% to 50% white guard hairs)
CHINCHILLAS:
I: Chinchilla teeth need to be worn down as their teeth grow continuously and can prevent the chinchilla from eating if they become overgrown.
II: Chinchillas dissipate heat by routing blood to their large ears, so red ears signal overheating.
RABBITS:
I: The Dutch rabbit is from the Netherlands, was actually developed in England.
II: Though cute, the floppy ears of "Lop" breed rabbits can block their hearing.

S ure, all those are fun, but DOTM is my home run!
