We apologize for not blogging you sooner! Mom has been busier than ever these days. She kept planning on doing our blogs for us but she had to have a birthday party for Abby (#11674 on and then right after that was Halloween. Then it was time to through another birthday party for K.C. (#99842 on On it's not small thing to achieve COTD, Well, K.C. got so many blogs and votes for his birthday that he was COTD as a big surprise the next day. Now he has PAGES AND PAGES of new blogs to answer. And what happened after that? Our dog Pike (pronounced "Pee-keh" #101122 on DC) got a big DOTD surprise on DogChannel! Then mom's other dog Yukon (#101805 on DC) was extremely sick and we thought he might even had to be put to sleep so everyone was very worried. Thankfully it was a stomach blockage. Mom won't be buying any big raw-hides for him anymore. it's time to tell you about US! he,he A few weeks ago (I know, you've told us to stay in the cage but you know, us voles just never listen) One of us escaped out of the cage when mom was moving us from it to clean it. He ran around in mom's room and finally mom trapped him in Topaz's pink cube thing. She covered the hole with a book. When she moved the book to see him...That little bugger jumped out! He got out of mom's room and in the living room. Then there he was caught by K.C. The cat dropped him and then he ran under Grandma's bed. Then Mickey (mom's 3rd cat) ran under the bed and caught him. Everybody started grabbing things and trying to push Mickey out from under the bed. Mickey dropped the vole and came out. When we looked under the bed...There was the poor little vole...dead. There was blood coming from him which meant it was really bad because voles are so small and a tiny injury is a huge injury to us. But wait!! He was breathing! Quickly as mom could she examined him. He had a torn ear and that's where the bleeding came from. Fortunately, it was the only wound on him. Mom put him in a little box lined with soft paper towels and waited...sure enough the little guy started jumping around! Mom was so happy he was okay!! She put him back in the cage with all of us and his ear is all healed up now. Well, remember we said that mom was going to make us a big, big, big cage so we could all be together? It's finished! We'll put a picture of it up on our page as soon as we can. We have a ton of new photos we want to share with you! :)
Love ya & here's a vote.
