Where does your sugar glider seem to most enjoy you petting him or her (if you have multiple sugar gliders or owned sugar gliders in the past, answer for the one you have owned the longest)?

Hi
Thank you for visiting my page! I and my sister were found as babies as our mom dumped us and our 7 other siblings out of her pouch one night. Not sure why or what happened. Our eyes were not really opened yet. My sister and I were the only ones who survived and were not releaseable. My mom said to let you know that she does not advocate having an opossum as a pet as we require a very difficult diet and have health issues that alot of vets do not know how to treat or even identify. We are very friendly and cuddly and love our human family. We are gentle and highly intelligent. Please if you ever see an opossum, treat them with respect - they will show you their teeth as they are afraid - but they are not an animal that readily attacks. They just hope you leave them alone. They are very beneficial to your garden as they eat bugs and can take care of snakes. They generally do not carry rabies as their body temp is too low. They do drool - that is part of their defenses. If you see a dead one on the road - please check to see if there are live babies in the pouch and get the dead mama to a rehabber. Lots of times they can save them.
Thank you for asking about us.
