Happy New Year!
Trying to do a c/p for all our channel friends--- we just don't get to visit all of you as much as we'd like lately and miss all of our dear friends so much! Do hope all is well with all of you and mom and dad too. We are doing well and mom is hanging in and handling the homefront. We look forward to sharing another year ahead with all our friends on CC, DC and SAC, though currently we have only kitties, dogs and humans in our family and Angel rats. Mom said she does not have enough time to add new members, but if a rescue comes along in any species, it will be considered or helped to find an appropriate home. We want to thank a dear friend of mom's, who recently adopted our cat Hefty--- you heard right, Hefty. No, never fear, he shall not leave our home! Mom's good friend said she wanted to help mom this year with her rescue expenses for our care. Since she really couldn't designate our care though mom's rescue group, she said she would send a monthly check directly to mom in Hefty's name. All she requires is occasional pictures and letters from her "Adopted Kitty Hefty." Mom could hardly say no to this request, so she agreed. We sincerely hope that Hefty's new mom and brother,Gato(who doesn't get along with him in real space) will join cc, so all our friends will meet them. Mom's friend, Hefty's second mom, have been friends since college days, so we are looking forward to welcoming her, when they are ready. The wind is really blowing around here and mom says its really cold out. Sure glad we don't have to live outside anymore and hold all those kitties who do in our prayers.
